The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is offering an Electronic Course Program (eCP). According to TEA's website, the eCP offers an alternative way to educate Texas public school students through online learning.
Through TEA's eCP, Texas districts and open-enrollment charter schools selected to participate in the program will be given the opportunity to provide online learning options to full-time public school students. Students are not required to be located on the physical premises of a school district or open enrollment charter school. A full-time virtual program can offer individualized instruction that is easily adjusted for a student’s own learning pace and schedule.
